We are Adam and Rachael and we live in Iowa, America's Heartland, where we spend our free time designing, building, and constructing all kinds of things for today’s modern farmhouse.
When we met over 8 years ago, Adam already had his own established construction business, which focused mainly on structural projects such as framing, siding, drywall, roofing and concrete.
Rachael brought her farmhouse style and design to the table when plans were drawn up to build our personal residence (and get married!) 3+ years ago.
Starting with drawings on a sheet of notebook paper, we went through the laborious task of designing, building, and decorating our future home which eventually became the foundation for what is now aps design. since then, we have designed and built several items for clients looking to add a farmhouse touch to their decorating style.
